Dr Eyden Samunderu is Program Director for a Masters in International Business program at the International School of Management (ISM) in Dortmund. He is a leading consulting expert with a global perspective experience in air transport and holds a PhD in Strategic Management and has extensive practical experience in management consulting with functional focus on strategy, project management and commercial functions such as network management, revenue and yield management.
Prior to a career-switch into academia, Dr Samunderu worked for numerous corporations in the UK including Alfred Dunhill, Merrill Lynch and Oliver Wyman as a Senior Strategy Consultant. He has been actively engaged in lecturing advanced level courses in Strategy at Saint Louis University, Suffolk University and Schiller International University in Madrid Spain and was a Senior Consultant for the Institute for the Advancement of Business and Technology a research think-tank in Spain.
Furthermore, he also delivered key note speeches and research papers at international conferences. He is currently a Program Director at a leading business school (ISM) in Germany. His research interests focuses on airline networks, spatial econometrics, competition dynamics and African aviation markets. He is an active member of the Strategic Management Journal, Air Transport Research Society and German Aviation Research Society, Chartered Institute of Marketing UK.
